Pierce is an Oregon Geologist-in-Training with nearly 6 years of experience in environmental investigation and remediation. His work focuses on data analysis, drafting, database management, operations and maintenance, mapping, and contractor management. Pierce is also responsible for developing and editing technical maps using ArcGIS, constructing and producing diagrams, sorting and analyzing technical data, and preparing comprehensive data packages for clients.   • Participates in remedial investigation activities at active and former commercial and industrial facilities, including groundwater monitoring of well networks, excavation of contaminated soils and restoration of site conditions.
  • Supports remediation field efforts at a range of cleanup sites, including oversight of treatment technologies using surfactant flushing, bioremediation, chemical oxidation, product skimming and bulk removal, as well as conducting drawdown and transmissivity testing, and compliance groundwater monitoring for remedy efficacy.
  • Supports initial and remedial investigation of petroleum-contaminated groundwater and soil at diesel/heating oil UST sites.
