Brendan Brinton is a 2022 graduate from Cal Poly Humboldt with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resource Engineering and currently registered Engineer in Training (E.I.T.). His experience includes environmental sampling, groundwater monitoring projects, vapor intrusion assessment and mitigation, soil and groundwater remediation, data entry and tracking, technical report preparation, and figure generation. Field experience throughout Oregon and Washington includes sampling of groundwater, soil, soil vapors, indoor and outdoor air, and vapor emissions, drilling oversight, and operations and maintenance of chemical and mechanical remediation systems.

  • Participates in remedial investigation activities at various commercial and industrial facilities including active and former retail and bulk petroleum facilities, dry cleaners, high-tech support facilities, dredge-fill redevelopment sites and others, including groundwater monitoring of well networks, boring and installation of wells, field monitoring soil parameters, and conducting soil sampling using incremental sampling methodology (ISM).
  • Supports remediation efforts at various cleanup sites, including oversight of surfactant flushing, chemical oxidation, vapor mitigation, and compliance groundwater monitoring for remedy efficacy. Experienced in operation and monitoring of soil vapor extraction equipment and NAPL recovery systems.
  • Contributes to comprehensive written technical reports. Skilled communicator and proficient in data entry, table formatting, and generating figures for clear data representation.
